It looks like there is only half a basement because there is!  It has a walkout basement.  

It has been interesting to see the whole process of digging the hole and pouring the foundation because its on a slope and has a walkout basement.  They are going to have to bring in a lot of dirt to bury as much of the foundation as they are going to.   It will be fun to see the framing start to happen in a few weeks.  Then it really starts to look like a house!
