When Linda and I were teenagers she had a bean bag frog that she got from who knows where. We loved that thing and decided to trace it and use it for a pattern. We traced it and I started making frogs. Then I went to college and made frogs for my roommates. I made one for Karen and she used it when she was at the MTC. They used it to play a game that she called "pasa la rana" (pass the frog). One of the elders in her district loved the frog so she gave it to him. He took it to South America somewhere and ended up letting a lady trace it to make a pattern and they ended up making dozens of frogs.
Fast forward 20 years and I was talking to Linda about the frogs. Our kids were like, WHAT are bean bag frogs? So I broke out the old pattern, revised it a bit and I have been making frogs ever since. I have made a LOT of these little guys. (Like over 30.) I keep making them and giving them away before I can give them to the people I originally made them for. I have now made them for my kids and many of my kids' cousins. And friends. And now Carol has commissioned me to make 25 for the siblings of kids with cancer camp.

Cousin Party
My nephew Sammy had a state wrestling match in Panguitch over the weekend. (Kent affectionately refers to this town as "Pang-town". He has to go there sometimes to do work at the clinic there.) Sam and Linda decided to make a little trip out of the way to come visit us and have some cousin time. We ate pizza and swam in their hotel pool. Unfortunately it was cut short when Alayna started puking after dinner. Erica came over and had a sleep over with Emilia and Elise. It was sad that they didn't get to stay very long.

Tagged!
Ok, you all know this tag that is going around. The one where you go to your picture folders, open the 4th folder and pick the 4th picture. Here goes:
This is a picture of our house in Logan. It was taken in January or February of 2005. I have such good memories of that little house. We brought 2 babies home from the hospital to that house. We raked up hundreds and hundreds of horse chestnuts from the tree in front. The winter of 2005 was really, really wet and I remember our crawl space getting flooded from the rain. It created a really musty smell that we could not find the origin of forever. We finally crawled down there and found a bunch of our boxes damp with water and fuzzy with mold. When we lived in this house we could walk to the post office, several parks, Smith's grocery store and the bus station. There was also a bus stop across the street where we would get on the bus and go for rides all over Logan. Good times. (Well, the flooded crawl space and mold experiences were not good times.) I miss Logan.
Let's see, who hasn't already done this? Drew, Brian and Yohanna, Destiny, Ashlee, Megan B. (Sorry if you have already done this. I can't remember who has done this already.)
