Tagged!

I have been tagged by my sister-in-law Michelle.

6 quirky things about me:

1. Garbage disposals frighten me. If something gets stuck down there I will avoid reaching down into that black hole of slime at all costs.

2. I hate wearing socks in the kitchen. I either have to have bare feet or shoes on. I hate stepping on water or food.

3. I like to drink pickle juice.

4. I HATE walking on sidewalks after it rains because of all the worms that come out. I hate stepping on worms.

5. I hate particle chicken. At fast food restaurants I have to ask if their chicken sandwich is a fillet or "particle chicken". Surprisingly, many people are confused about what constitutes particle chicken and I have to explain that particle chicken is like particle board. It is chicken that is chopped up into little tiny pieces and squashed back together again.

6. I like to sleep in total darkness and silence. I wear earplugs in the summertime when I have to sleep with the windows open and other times when there is noise. I always wear earplugs at night when I travel.

I tag:
DD, Meg M. Megan B. Leilani, and Marcy (and everyone else who is quirky)

Tagged!

Ok, you all know this tag that is going around. The one where you go to your picture folders, open the 4th folder and pick the 4th picture. Here goes:

This is a picture of our house in Logan. It was taken in January or February of 2005. I have such good memories of that little house. We brought 2 babies home from the hospital to that house. We raked up hundreds and hundreds of horse chestnuts from the tree in front. The winter of 2005 was really, really wet and I remember our crawl space getting flooded from the rain. It created a really musty smell that we could not find the origin of forever. We finally crawled down there and found a bunch of our boxes damp with water and fuzzy with mold. When we lived in this house we could walk to the post office, several parks, Smith's grocery store and the bus station. There was also a bus stop across the street where we would get on the bus and go for rides all over Logan. Good times. (Well, the flooded crawl space and mold experiences were not good times.) I miss Logan.
Let's see, who hasn't already done this? Drew, Brian and Yohanna, Destiny, Ashlee, Megan B. (Sorry if you have already done this. I can't remember who has done this already.)

A Memory of Me

Ok, so I saw this on a friends blog and thought it would be fun. So here goes.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

3. If you leave a memory about me, I'll come to your blog and and leave one for you if you decide to play. And I really think you should.

Like my friend Megan said:
"This is kindof like the blogging version of those annoying chain e-mails we all get, but without the seven years of bad luck, or windfall of money in three days, or wishes coming true within the week...oh and another difference is that this is actually fun!!"

Come on guys. YOU know you want to. I am tagging everyone who is reading this.
